Weaving a Body of Shared Presence
A walkable, woven pavilion installation becomes a ritual space for gathering, listening, and collective making—turning stories into a collective image. It functions as both textile and instrument, forming a spatial and sonic field where threads, stories, and voices are interwoven into a shared body of relations.
Feminist Super Strings is a participatory installation that strengthens a field of collective making as a feminist and ecological practice. Constructed from loom structures and sound strings, the pavilion invites visitors to weave fabric, stories, and voices while also activating and playing the embedded string instruments.
Hosted by MOTHERBOARD with invited artists, thinkers, and practitioners, the work unfolds as a strengthening field of shared presence—continuously shaped through participation, listening, and embodied action. Through weaving, sounding, and gathering, it opens a space for unlearning domination and reimagining forms of terrestrial belonging.
Tea is served—join us and gently weave your thread into the field.
