“Chariot” is a solo exhibition by Asta Lynge, for which she produced a new sculptural series, as well as a video work. In her artistic practice, the artist explores ideas of progress and technology, considering how objects carry systems of desire, value, and control. Through reworking existing forms, her exhibitions expose hidden power structures and cultural narratives, and highlight how these are shaping contemporary life. With her conceptual approach, Lynge works associatively across materials and processes, opening up the potential of collapsing motifs to understand something new.
