Barbara Eichhorn, Kamilla Szij: SICH 1 WIDMEN NICHT 2
22.5.–17.6.2026
Barbara Eichhorn, Kamilla Szij
In Barbara Eichhorn’s works, threads on glass batiste trace the breath as lines, originally created on her body. The persistent embroidery, like conscious breathing, becomes an act of grounding. Kamilla Szij creates visual monologues: delicate, repetitive strokes condense thoughts and form an abstract visualization of existence. Despite their different approaches, both artists are united by the line and the patience of execution. SICH 1 WIDMEN NICHT 2 represents the ability to linger on a single point amidst the density of everyday life without losing sight of the whole. In the exhibition, the works stand side by side, facing each other, sometimes intertwined, merging into one another depending on the viewer’s perspective.

puuul is a versatile art space—a workshop, independent exhibition space, and studio all in one. The focus of its exhibition program is on solo shows, which provide opportunities to engage deeply with an artist’s work. But there’s plenty of room at puuul, and a key part of the project is to remain open to ideas, projects, and flights of fancy.
