Natalia Gurova, GIANT HOGWEED: A DECEPTIVE GIFT IN VIENNA

The video, filmed at Ballhausplatz during the Wandertheater event at Wienwoche 2025, centers on the giant hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum), a plant that is said to have arrived in Vienna as a diplomatic gift from Tsar Alexander I to Prince Metternich. Once admired as an exotic rarity, it later became invasive, poisonous, and virtually impossible to eradicate. The performance unfolds this story as an allegory of diplomacy, migration, and deception—a narrative in which we speak about the present from the perspective of the past

Transcultural Emancipation & Raashish India, RIVER CALLING

The film about the Chiang Rai International Performance Art Project 2026: River Landscapes of Resistance was created from the perspective of participants and captures moments such as lectures by scholars and performances.
