The Kulturdrogerie is based in a former drugstore and offers artists studio space, production facilities as well as exhibition space. The association was founded in 2005 by the artists Markus Hiesleitner and Franz Tišek. The Kulturdrogerie is an experimental art space that serves as a testing ground and provides conceptual and technical handholding to artists to realise their works. By making art visible and accessible also in public space, the Kulturdrogerie invites an enhanced engagement with contemporary art.
